In our rapidly changing world, agile structures are essential. As a global medium-sized company, PMG is on one hand big enough to support customers' demanding changes, and on the other smart enough to do so in a fast and effective manner.

Our production capacity gives us the flexibility to manufacture a wide range of various products – from small shock absorber valves up to big ring gears for xEV reduction transmissions. We produce approx. 300 m shock absorber parts per year in fully automated production lines, approx. 60 m transmission components, approx. 20 m thereof being synchronizer rings, approx. 30 m synchronizer hubs and more than 8 m sliding sleeves. THE FUTURE TECHNOLOGY
OF POWDER METALLURGY.

We're moving towards a sustainable, smart and safe future of mobility. Powder metallurgy will play a leading role in it. Compared to other technologies, powder metallurgy takes the lead with its low energy consumption, its enormous possibilities for material combinations and shapes, and its outstanding product properties.

The principle of powder metallurgical fabrication is simply convincing. Special metal powder is formed into the required shape using a press at low heat. Subsequently, the still unstable workpiece is sintered at temperatures between 1,100°C and 1,300°C, virtually "baked" and hardened. In the sintering process, the microstructures of the metal combine to form a highly stable, precise steel part that can be further treated in downstream steps as required. Simple, efficient and precise, powder metallurgical fabrication is unbeatable in the serial production of high volumes.
