October 28th, 2023 - PMG celebrated another milestone in its history - the completion of the new factory building at PMG's LEADER plant in Yangzhou, called "Phase II". Mr. Friedrich Erfurth (Chairman of the Board), Mr. Jiabin Wang (CEO PMG China), Mrs. Zhixian Qian (CFO PMG China), Mrs. Lian Ge (GM PMG LEADER), leaders from government as well as PMG employees and their families celebrated the opening ceremony.
The great team achievement as well as the strategic importance of the plant with its new building were emphasized within the speeches. Mr. Erfurth thanked everyone involved in this expansion process and expressed appreciation: "We are very proud of the development of our two locations in China and we are aware that the very good site conditions in Yangzhou and Shanghai, as well as the great team on site make a significant contribution to our success. With today's completion of our new production building, we are celebrating another important milestone in our company's history. A further expansion of our production capacity in China. An important brick to meet the increasing demand of our customers, to make our contribution to growth markets such as e-mobility and to be able to offer our technology, powder metallurgy with all its advantages, to other applications outside automotive as well. Thanks to everyone involved.”
In the afternoon, the PMG team celebrated this milestone also with the family day activities. Especially the painting game was a lot of fun for everyone, young and old. In a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, the children showcased their creativity and imagination, joined by their parents and the PMG Team. The event was filled with laughter and joy, with time for conversation while eating together and showing the families around the workplace.
