PMG Shanghai is delighted about two awards at once: the production facility, which began operations in 2005, received Magna's "Cost Optimization Contribution Award" and Shuanghuan's "Excellent Supplier Award" in December 2020.
PMG Shanghai was awarded the "Cost Optimization Contribution Award" at the supplier conference held by automotive supplier Magna. This award recognizes PMG´s ability to optimize costs while maximizing its own market value through efficient and effective use of resources. PMG achieves this, among other things, by supplying powder metal parts instead of steel parts for the production of synchronizer sleeves and rings. Also in December, PMG Shanghai received the "Excellent Supplier Award" at the "Shuanghuan Supplier Conference and Awarding Ceremony". Shuanghuan is a leading Chinese manufacturer of transmissions and axles with whom PMG has been working for years for end customer Volkswagen China. The "Excellent Supplier Award" certifies that PMG reliably meets the requirements of its customers in terms of the consistency and reliability of parts supplied. In the future, PMG Shanghai plans to increase deliveries to Shuanghuan in order to jointly further expand their market share.
