Soft Magnetic Composites (SMC) are the upcoming development in powder metallurgy. Soft Magnetic Composite components are made of insulated iron powder and can be used in electrical motors in order to reach high power densities. For many applications conventional e-drives do not meet the high requirements of ambitious motor developers. PMG is dedicated to support e-motor designers with visions for the future.
