Leader, part of PMG Group, and Tenneco have been collaborating since 2009, marking 15 years of partnership. On February 28th, Leader Yangzhou was awarded the “Excellent Quality Performance Award” during the Chengdu Ningjiang Showa supplier conference. This award recognizes Leader’s ability to produce a quality product, on time with the highest level of customer service for many years.
PMG Shanghai receives “Excellent Supplier Award” from BWI Beijing
On January 18th, PMG Shanghai was awarded the `Annual Excellent Supplier 2022´ from BWI Beijing. PMG Shanghai supplies high quality shock absorber components to BWI. PMG Shanghai was also awarded `Annual Excellent Supplier 2021´ from BWI Beijing.
PMG China – Leader Yangzhou plant expands
During 2022, the expansion of PMG´s Leader plant in Yangzhou has been underway. Among others, several highly effective automatic production lines (`super-lines´) will be installed, with an annual capacity of approximately 165 million pieces for shock absorber applications.

On October 26th, Leader Yangzhou was awarded the `Annual Excellent Supplier Award´ & `Outstanding Performance Award´ at the 2022 Tenneco Supplier Day. Leader Yangzhou has provided powder metal shock absorber components to Tenneco for many years with a focus on quality, delivery and cost competitiveness.
PMG awarded the 2022 Schaeffler Sustainability Award
The importance of sustainability and reducing CO2 levels in an effort to counter climate change has never been more critical. Schaeffler as one of the largest first tiers in the automotive industry is leading the way towards climate neutrality and their vision of a cleaner tomorrow is expected to be shared by all partners. Their recent supplier day 2022, with the motto `Together towards Climate Neutrality´ was another example of how they lead in these efforts.

After the `Zero Defect´ achievement at MPJ for year 2021, PMG Shanghai performed `Zero Defect´ on Q1 2022 as promised.

Right at the beginning of 2022, PMG Shanghai received the `Excellent Supplier Award 2021´ from its customer BWI. PMG supplies Powder Metal components for Shock Absorber in China, in Europe as well as in North America to BWI.
