Lead time from 10 to just 1 day – Successful Ramp-Up of PMG LEADER Phase 2
In response to increasing customer demand in China, PMG LEADER in Yangzhou launched the `Phase 2´ capacity expansion project in 2022. This ambitious project includes the introduction of the first Super-Line at the Yangzhou plant, a fully automated one-piece flow system aligned with PMG´s powder metal production concept.

On September 19th, Leader Yangzhou was awarded the `Long-term Contribution Award´ by TENNECO MRS CHINA. Leader, part of PMG Group, and Tenneco have been collaborating since 2009, marking 15 years of partnership. Tenneco is one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and marketers of automotive products for original equipment and aftermarket customers.
Exciting Visit from Jiangdu · Yangzhou Government at PMG Holding in Füssen!
For almost two years, we have enjoyed a productive collaboration with the Government from Jiangdu · Yangzhou. Last October, we celebrated another milestone in PMG’s growth journey with the production expansion at our Yangzhou subsidiary. Followed by a warm invitation and welcome for our CEO, Friedrich Erfurth, on site in Yangzhou, Mayor Zhu Dingjin and representatives from Jiangdu · Yangzhou have now visited the PMG headquarters in Füssen.
PMG China – Opening ceremony of new production building at Yangzhou plant
October 28th, 2023 PMG celebrated another milestone in its history – the completion of the new factory building at PMG´s LEADER plant in Yangzhou, called `Phase II´. Mr. Friedrich Erfurth (Chairman of the Board), Mr. Jiabin Wang (CEO PMG China), Mrs. Zhixian Qian (CFO PMG China), Mrs. Lian Ge (GM PMG LEADER), leaders from government as well as PMG employees and their families celebrated the opening ceremony.

PMG was honored to be awarded the 2022 `Quality Excellence Award´ by Magna. As a long-term customer of PMG, this honor undoubtedly laid an even more solid foundation for long-term cooperation between the two sides.
Leader Yangzhou receives “Excellent Quality Award” from Ningjiang Showa
On February 28th, Leader Yangzhou was awarded the “Excellent Quality Performance Award” during the Chengdu Ningjiang Showa supplier conference. This award recognizes Leader’s ability to produce a quality product, on time with the highest level of customer service for many years.
PMG Shanghai receives “Excellent Supplier Award” from BWI Beijing
On January 18th, PMG Shanghai was awarded the `Annual Excellent Supplier 2022´ from BWI Beijing. PMG Shanghai supplies high quality shock absorber components to BWI. PMG Shanghai was also awarded `Annual Excellent Supplier 2021´ from BWI Beijing.
PMG China – Leader Yangzhou plant expands
During 2022, the expansion of PMG´s Leader plant in Yangzhou has been underway. Among others, several highly effective automatic production lines (`super-lines´) will be installed, with an annual capacity of approximately 165 million pieces for shock absorber applications.
Leader Yangzhou received two awards from Tenneco
On October 26th, Leader Yangzhou was awarded the `Annual Excellent Supplier Award´ & `Outstanding Performance Award´ at the 2022 Tenneco Supplier Day. Leader Yangzhou has provided powder metal shock absorber components to Tenneco for many years with a focus on quality, delivery and cost competitiveness.
