Lead time from 10 to just 1 day – Successful Ramp-Up of PMG LEADER Phase 2
In response to increasing customer demand in China, PMG LEADER in Yangzhou launched the `Phase 2´ capacity expansion project in 2022. This ambitious project includes the introduction of the first Super-Line at the Yangzhou plant, a fully automated one-piece flow system aligned with PMG´s powder metal production concept.

Exciting Visit from Jiangdu · Yangzhou Government at PMG Holding in Füssen!
For almost two years, we have enjoyed a productive collaboration with the Government from Jiangdu · Yangzhou. Last October, we celebrated another milestone in PMG’s growth journey with the production expansion at our Yangzhou subsidiary. Followed by a warm invitation and welcome for our CEO, Friedrich Erfurth, on site in Yangzhou, Mayor Zhu Dingjin and representatives from Jiangdu · Yangzhou have now visited the PMG headquarters in Füssen.
Goodbye Manel Pérez Latre, Thank You for 26 Successful Years
Manel Pérez Latre joined PMG in 1998, leading the operations in Mexico, and later PMG Polmetasa. During these years, together with his team in PMG Polmetasa, he has contributed significantly to the development of the shock absorber lines in PMG Pennsylvania and PMG Shanghai.
PMG Asturias and Bosquia Join Forces to Restore Neglected Forests and Reduce Carbon Footprint
MG Asturias has launched a partnership with Bosquia to plant trees in neglected areas and reduce its carbon footprint in the coming years.
Bosquia, is a platform which aims to raise awareness among companies and individuals about the importance of forests and encourage them to contribute making our planet greener. Forests are the major regulators and balancers of the climate: they favor rainfall, generate oxygen, clean the atmosphere and are essential for life.

PMG Shanghai was awarded the `New Product Development Contribution Award´ at Magna Supplier Day. The award recognizes PMG´s technological innovation, product quality and service excellence in long-term partnerships. PMG Shanghai was also awarded Magna´s `Excellent Quality Supplier Award 2021´ and the `Quality Excellence Award 2022´.

On December 15th, PMG Shanghai was awarded the `Quality Excellence Award´ at Geely Supplier Day. PMG´s Shanghai plant supplies Synchronizer Sub-Assembly components to Geely. This award recognizes PMG´s ability on quality control and service performance over the last year.
PMG China – Opening ceremony of new production building at Yangzhou plant
October 28th, 2023 PMG celebrated another milestone in its history – the completion of the new factory building at PMG´s LEADER plant in Yangzhou, called `Phase II´. Mr. Friedrich Erfurth (Chairman of the Board), Mr. Jiabin Wang (CEO PMG China), Mrs. Zhixian Qian (CFO PMG China), Mrs. Lian Ge (GM PMG LEADER), leaders from government as well as PMG employees and their families celebrated the opening ceremony.

Recycling of Green Parts Scrap at PMG Asturias
In the powder metal process, recycling of green parts scrap is a wonderful way to save resources and costs at the same time. Compared with other technologies, the PM process itself is already known for its cost effectiveness and sustainability. This near net shape process has high material utilization and lower energy consumption. Within the production process of powder metal parts, the desired shape is pressed (compacted) from powder (green part) and then cured by heat (sintered part).
